We believe that nature is a place for joy, adventure, and unforgettable experiences. Stay with us for a few days! We offer accommodation in a cozy cabin/house at Nysted Farm – right by Lake Andsvatnet.

Only a 2-minute walk to the lake, where you can fish for trout and Arctic char. Fishing rods are available for rent for both summer fishing and ice fishing. A sauna can be rented, and a hot tub is available during parts of the year. Large outdoor area with barbecue and benches. Mini shop with firewood and souvenirs. Cross-country ski trails nearby during winter, and excellent hiking opportunities all year round. A combination of peace, nature, and activities on the farm and in the surrounding area – perfect for both relaxation and adventure.

The Space

Cabin on an active farm with a rural and lively atmosphere. Perfect for all ages, with a private terrace. 2 bedrooms with double beds, as well as a cradle and travel cot available for small children. Cozy living room with a wood-burning stove, TV, and WiFi. Outdoor area just below with benches and a barbecue, as well as shared barbecue areas in the camp. Firewood can be purchased in the mini shop. Animals and year-round farming activities provide an authentic experience. Parking next to the cabin. Short distance to the lake for swimming in summer and ice fishing in winter.

Guest Access

Available from 15 March to 15 November, and upon request outside this period. Full access to the cabin, outdoor areas, and shared areas down by the lake. Sauna available for rent year-round, hot tub during parts of the year. Fishing rods for rent and fishing permits available via Vipps or on-site. Cross-country ski trails and hiking paths in the surrounding area are freely accessible. Nature right outside your door, offering both tranquility and activities all year round.

Other Things to Note

During periods of wildfire risk, barbecuing is only permitted at the cabin. Fishing permits available via Vipps or on-site. Firewood and other goods available in the mini shop. Grocery store/pharmacy approximately 8 minutes away. Cross-country ski trails in winter and hiking opportunities throughout the rest of the year. Polar Park (bears, wolves, lynx), Polarbadet (swimming pools/wellness facilities), Målselv Mountain Village (alpine skiing). Senja and Dividalen National Park nearby. Approximately 11 minutes to Bardufoss Airport, 2 hours to Tromsø/Evenes.
