The trip to the viewpoint and Hulderslottet is a short walk of about one kilometer if you go all the way to Hulderslottet, or shorter if you choose to turn back at the viewpoint. This is a relaxed excursion with low entry requirements. You can walk on foot or use snowshoes if there is a lot of snow. Snowshoes have the fantastic ability to keep you from sinking into the snow like regular shoes.
At Hulderslottet or along the way, you will hear tales of the hulder – and who knows, she might even make an appearance! A simple meal or campfire snacks will also be served.
